Every number on Asked 3D is traced to a manufacturer data sheet, a standards document or a published measurement, listed under Sources at the bottom of the page with the date it was checked. That is a statement about where the number came from, not a guarantee that it will hold on your printer.

Printing

Filament batches, nozzle wear, ambient temperature, slicer versions and printer calibration all move results. Treat a figure on this site as a starting point and confirm it with the check described at the end of each page before you trust a part with heat, water, load or food.

Safety

Pages that mention temperatures, fumes, enclosures or electrical work describe published guidance. They are not a substitute for the manual of your printer or the safety data sheet of your material.
